These Platform Rules explain what is and is not allowed on Phaser. They apply together with Phaser's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Intellectual Property Policy.
Phaser is a music-discovery platform designed to help artists present music-related content and help fans discover, recommend, and interact with artists.
Phaser may also contain clearly identified unofficial artist profiles created by administrators using limited professional information, public links, and embedded media from third-party services.
Users must use Phaser lawfully, honestly, respectfully, and in a way that does not harm other users, artists, rights holders, the Service, or the integrity of Phaser's discovery and moderation systems.
You are responsible for your account, your activity, and any content you upload, publish, submit, recommend, link, embed, or otherwise make available through Phaser.
You must not use Phaser to violate applicable law, third-party rights, these Platform Rules, Phaser's Terms & Conditions, or any other applicable policy.
You must provide accurate account information and must not intentionally misrepresent your identity, role, authority, relationship with an artist, or ownership of content.
Nothing in these Platform Rules excludes or limits any responsibility that Phaser may have under applicable law.
You may not upload, publish, link, embed, submit, recommend, or share content that:
Artists may only upload or share audio, images, videos, links, embedded media, Spotlight content, news, profile materials, and promotional materials that they own or are legally authorised to use.
Before uploading or sharing content, artists are responsible for obtaining all necessary rights, licences, permissions, consents, and clearances from relevant:
An artist account must not falsely claim ownership, authorship, representation, official status, or authority over content, another artist, a label, or a third party.
Phaser may remove, restrict, or reduce the visibility of content where ownership, authorisation, legality, authorship, consent, or rights clearance is disputed, unclear, unsupported, or reasonably appears unreliable.
Phaser administrators may create limited unofficial artist profiles using relevant professional information obtained from publicly accessible sources.
These profiles may include:
An administrator-created profile will be identified, where appropriate, as Unofficial, Fan-made, Not managed by the artist, or through another similarly clear notice.
An unofficial profile has not necessarily been created, verified, approved, managed, sponsored, or endorsed by the artist.
Phaser does not claim to represent the artist and does not claim ownership of the artist's name, likeness, music, artwork, trademarks, or other rights.
Phaser administrators must not present an unofficial profile in a manner that falsely suggests that it is controlled, approved, or verified by the artist.
Where reasonably possible, links and embedded media used in an unofficial profile should come from an official artist, label, distributor, publisher, management page, or another apparently authorised source.
Phaser may correct, relabel, hide, restrict, merge, or remove an unofficial profile where necessary to address:
For an administrator-created artist profile that has not yet been claimed, an artist, authorised representative, rights holder, or other affected person may use the dedicated public profile-request form or contact Phaser.
The requester must act in good faith and provide accurate information. Phaser may require the requester's name, email address, role or relationship to the artist, explanation, official reference URL, and reasonable verification details.
Submitting a request does not automatically prove identity, authority, ownership, or entitlement to control the profile. Before granting access, merging or removing a profile, disclosing account information, or taking another identity-sensitive action, Phaser may request proportionate verification.
Requests may be marked as pending, verification required, verified, accepted, rejected, or resolved. Phaser may correct, relabel, hide, restrict, merge, transfer management of, or remove a profile where appropriate.
False, abusive, retaliatory, contradictory, materially incomplete, unsupported, or fraudulent profile requests are prohibited and may be rejected.
Fans may create profiles, upload profile images, and publish Picks, recommendations, comments, opinions, and other content concerning artists, provided that the content is lawful, respectful, and does not violate third-party rights.
Fans must not present themselves as the artist, an official representative, a label, management, or another authorised party.
A fan must not use a photograph, portrait, artwork, album cover, logo, screenshot, press image, social-media image, or other visual material merely because it is publicly visible online.
The fan must own the material or have a valid licence, permission, consent, exception, or other lawful basis to publish it on Phaser.
Fan content must not:
Phaser allows certain links and embedded content supplied by third-party services.
A link or embed does not mean that Phaser or the submitting user owns, controls, hosts, licenses, verifies, or endorses the underlying content.
Users must not knowingly link to or embed content that:
Phaser may disable or remove a link or embed where the source becomes unavailable, the relevant platform restricts its use, a valid complaint is received, or Phaser reasonably believes that the link or embed may violate applicable law or platform policies.
You may not:
Users must not harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, intimidate, impersonate, stalk, blackmail, or target other users or artists.
Prohibited conduct includes:
Phaser may restrict or remove content or accounts involved in harmful conduct, coordinated abuse, unwanted contact, or repeated misconduct.
Users, artists, rights holders, and other affected persons may report:
Reports should identify the exact content, profile, URL, username, or activity concerned and explain the alleged violation clearly.
Where a report concerns copyright, trademark, image rights, privacy, impersonation, or another legal right, the reporter should provide reliable contact information and enough supporting information to allow Phaser to assess the report.
Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome. Phaser may request further information and may take temporary or permanent action where appropriate.
Knowingly submitting a false, misleading, abusive, retaliatory, or fraudulent report may result in rejection of the report and action against the reporting account.
Where valid electronic contact information is provided, Phaser may send confirmation that a report has been received.
Reports will be assessed as promptly, diligently, objectively, and consistently as reasonably possible, taking into account:

Phaser may take one or more actions where it reasonably believes that content, accounts, profiles, links, embeds, or activity may violate:

Where Phaser removes, disables, restricts, suspends, terminates, or materially reduces the visibility of user-submitted content or an account, Phaser will provide the affected user with an explanation of the principal reasons where required by applicable law.

Review requests should be submitted in good faith. Repeated, abusive, misleading, or fraudulent review requests may be rejected.
Phaser will review eligible requests based on the information available. Submitting a review request does not guarantee that the original decision will be reversed.
Phaser may impose stronger restrictions where a user repeatedly, seriously, knowingly, or intentionally violates applicable law, third-party rights, or Phaser's policies.
This may include permanent account termination, removal of associated content, restrictions on creating replacement accounts, and other proportionate technical or legal measures.
Phaser may also take action against users who repeatedly submit false complaints, fraudulent ownership claims, abusive reports, or attempts to obtain control over or remove profiles without authority.
Creating an account or submitting content does not guarantee publication, continued availability, recommendation, ranking, visibility, or inclusion in any discovery area.
Phaser may organise, rank, display, restrict, or remove content and profiles in accordance with applicable law, these Platform Rules, and the operation of the Service.
Phaser does not guarantee that content will remain continuously available or that third-party links and embedded media will continue to function.

Where a report concerns copyright, trademark, music rights, image rights, or another intellectual-property matter, Phaser may handle it under the Intellectual Property Policy.
Where a report concerns personal data, privacy, or a request to exercise data-protection rights, Phaser may also handle it under the Privacy Policy.
