This policy describes the cookies and browser storage used by the current Phaser project, including Search Lite. Browser storage such as local storage is distinct from a cookie, but this policy covers it because Phaser uses it for choices, preferences, and first-party usage measurement.
Phaser uses first-party technologies for functions such as account sessions, authentication, CSRF protection, security, and core service operation. Blocking these technologies may prevent login or other parts of the Service from working.
Search Lite stores some convenience information in the browser's local storage. This includes the cookie-consent choice, up to five recent search terms, the selected Indie or Signed search mode, Discover filters, and a limited memory of artists shown or explored. The shown/explored memory is pruned after 90 days and holds no more than 300 artists in each list. Search Lite sends the active search term and selected criteria to Phaser to return results; the active term is also shown in the page URL while the results are displayed.
Recent search terms can be removed with Search Lite's Clear control. Browser storage, including saved filters and discovery memory, can be removed through the browser's site-data controls. Removing it may reset saved preferences or affect convenience features.
Some pages create a pseudonymous visitor identifier in local storage and a session identifier in session storage. Phaser receives these identifiers with usage events such as page views, profile or post views, searches, media interactions, and external-link clicks. Events may include the page path, referrer, browser information, and the destination or content interacted with. If a user is signed in, event records may be associated with that account. The visitor identifier remains in browser storage until it is cleared; session storage normally lasts for the browser tab's session. More detail is provided in the Privacy Policy.
The current project version does not load separate third-party analytics or advertising scripts through its consent controls. If optional third-party analytics, advertising, or other non-essential technologies are added or enabled, they will be used only with a valid legal basis and, where required, after the relevant consent choice.
Music players, videos, and other embedded content may contact their provider and may use that provider's cookies or other technologies when loaded or activated. Those providers' privacy and cookie practices are governed by their own policies.
The consent banner offers a choice to accept or reject optional third-party technologies and saves that choice in browser storage. In this project version, the optional analytics and advertising hooks are not connected to third-party scripts. The choice does not turn the first-party usage measurement described above on or off. You can revisit your choice at any time using the control below. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.
You can delete or block cookies and clear site data through your browser settings. Browser-held Search Lite preferences remain until removed or replaced, except that the shown/explored memory is cleaned up after 90 days. The current project version does not configure a fixed automatic deletion period for server-side first-party usage-measurement events. Cookie and session retention may depend on the specific technical function and browser configuration.
This policy may be updated when Phaser changes its technologies or providers.
